observe about this Politics thing,
you got to admit that each party
is worse than the other.
The one that”s out always looks the best.
Those who are too smart
to engage in politics
are punished by being governed
by those who are dumber.
The flood of money
that gushes into politics
today is a pollution of democracy.
Ninety-eight percent of the adults in this country are decent, hardworking, honest Americans. It's the other lousy two percent that get all the publicity. But then, we elected them.
Prayer does not change God,
but it changes him who prays.
I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.

elections are held at great cost without issues and
with interchangeable candidates.
